Sâmbătă, 26 ianuarie 2019, începând cu ora 11.00, în Sala I. D. Berindei (parter) a Complexului Muzeal Național „Moldova” Iași, va avea loc a doua ședință publică din cadrul proiectului Procesul comuniștilor din România. Dacă la precedenta ședință publică, ce a avut lor pe 14 decembrie 2018, i s-a prezentat instanței rechizitoriul cu privire la fapte penale săvârșite de Gheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej și alți foști lideri comuniști, începând cu ședința publică de pe 26 ianuarie 2019 se va recurge la administrarea de noi probe și la audierea de martori.

Proiectul ”Procesul comuniștilor din România” este realizat de Universitatea „Petre Andrei” din Iași și Institutul de Studiere a Ideologiilor, în cadrul Programului Centenar al Primăriei Muncipiului Iași.

Partenerii instituționali ai proiectului sunt: Academia Română, Institutul pentru Investigarea Crimelor Comunismului și Memoria Exilului Românesc, Arhivele Naționale, Fundația Alianța Civică, Asociația Foștilor Deținuți Politici, Institutul Român pentru Evaluare și Strategie, Complexul Muzeal Național „Moldova” Iași și Editura Institutul European.
Partenerii media sunt: Realitatea TV, TELE Moldova, Iași TV Life, revista „Polis” și revista „Sinteza”.
